ADVISORY

Convergent Advisory Services was formed in 2008 as a law firm for securities and commercial transactions. The firm has represented both private and public companies in their transactional structuring, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and various other legal needs. As characteristic of the entire group, the company was organized in a lean organizational structure to provide clients direct access to their advisors and promote a high-level of service tailored to each client.

LITIGATION

Convergent Litigation Associates was launched in 2010 as the exclusive litigation division of the Convergent Capital Group. Convergent Litigation Associates is a law firm primarily focused on the representation of clients through complex commercial litigation. Recognizing the need for experienced representation through the terrain of the securities industry as well as commercial disputes, and the economic value in small firm representation, the law firm has represented individuals and investment groups, private and publicly-traded companies, and registered market participants through civil litigation and regulatory defense matters. With its core strength in federal securities matters, the firm is prepared to provide exclusive representation in a number of U.S. jurisdictions and can also assist through such matters, in conjunction with locally admitted attorneys, on a national basis.

PRIVATE EQUITY

Convergent Private Equity Partners is the most recent addition to our affiliated group and a response to the market’s demand for business development partners rather than commissioned-based brokers or hourly professionals. We have created a model based on the view that early and growth-stage companies must identify and retain the assistance of professional development partners whose interests are directly aligned with the success of the enterprise. We recognize that a key distinction exists between the skillset of an owner/operator of a company and the professional service providers that understand the legal, regulatory, and financial framework upon which growth can occur. We believe our platform is the solution and provides qualified companies with the professional expertise needed to grow; while affording them the ability to manage cash flows necessary for that sustainable growth to occur.
